HOW TO ARRIVE TO THE CONTEST :

If you come from Europe, the best option is to fly to MARRAKECH with any low cost fly company like www.ryanair.com, and to rent a car there (normally 24€/day) to come driving till Mirleft. Good and new highway till AGADIR from MARRAKECH, not finish freeway from AGADIR to TIZNIT and from TIZNIT to MIRLEFT by the coast road (45km).

If you come from north Morocco, you must to arrive first to AGADIR and continue to the south : TIZNIT, AGLOU BEACH and MIRLEFT.

When you arrive to Mirleft go directly to MIRLEFT SURF SHOP at the beach of Imintourga, to make the INSCRIPTION and to know where to camp or any kind of question about the contest.

1st LONGBOARD INTERNATIONAL OPEN OF MIRLEFT - COMPETITION RULES :

First of all, I want to explain that the most important thing for us is to have fun surfing, not to win prizes or to generate any kind of not nice competition atmosphere separating the best from the rest of the competitors.

but this is a surf contest and we need some rules !

1st - INSCRIPTION : will start now, 27th of July, to the 15th of August at the official surf shop of the contest :

the price is 150dhs and it includes the right to participate in the surf contest + brotherhood dinner + t-shirt.

2nd - RULES :

IN THIS FIRST LONGBOARD OPEN WE WANT TO ACCEPT ANY KIND OF LONGBOARD LOVER INDEPENDENTLY OF HIS STYLE :

• PROGRESSIVE / MODERN

• LOGGERS

• HOT DOGGERS

• ETC..

EACH ONE OF THEM WILL COMPETE WITH HIMSELF, IT MEANS THAT A PERFECT "TUBE" WILL BE 10 POINTS BUT ALSO A PERFECT "HANG TEN" WILL BE 10 POINTS; IN HIS OWN STYLE, ANY OF OUR COMPETITORS CAN BE THE WINNER OF THE CONTEST.

THE COMPETITORS WILL HAVE 15 MINUTES IN GROUPS OF FOUR SURFERS TO DEVELOP THEIR SURF STYLE, ONE OF THESE FOUR WILL PASS TO THE NEXT ROUND THAT WILL BE ANOTHER GROUP OF 4 SURFERS WITH 15 MINUTES MORE. SEMIFINALS AND THE FINAL 30 MINUTES.

WILL BE PRIZES FOR THE 3 BEST LONGBOARDERS OF THE CONTEST.
